Can-Am® Max X3 Xrs Turbo: Speedy & Stylish

Jun. 20 2020 News By Ben Leben

Can-Am® Max X3 Xrs Turbo Power. Speed. Style.

Is off-road speed what you live for? Then you need to take a look at the Can-Am® Max X3 Xrs Turbo.

This SideXSide was the performance superstar in 2019, adding a whole new level of excitement to off-road adventuring.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, Can-Am® jumped the horsepower from 172 to 195. The acceleration is a take-off the rider never forgets, no matter how many times he does it. The ride is a thrill, and all that power comes packaged with the most comfortable and largest seats Can-Am® has built to date.

What gives these machines their power? It’s all because of the new turbocharged and intercooled Rotax ACE engine, which is a newer version of last year’s 900cc ACE 3-cylinder engine. The 2020 models feature new Rotax-manufactured turbo pistons for better reliability. The Rotax-manufactured turbo is larger, with a less-restrictive airbox that lets the engine pump out 195HP for the ultimate thrill in off-roading riding.

The 2020 Maverick X3s are 72” wide, with new suspension calibration that provides 16 inches of ground clearance. Last year’s X rs packages came with four matched 30X10 tires on 14-inch wheels. This year, Can-Am® uses the same sized wheels and Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires, but now they are 30X9-14 in the front and 30X11-14 in the rear. This new tire configuration provides lighter steering and reduced steering kickback in the front, while adding better rear traction and control.

Improved Display for Ease of Reading

Whether you’re running full out, or taking it slow, there’s nothing like an easy to read dash to improve the experience. Base X3s come with a 4.5-inch multifunction display in the dash, but the Maverick X3 X-package vehicles go beyond that for style and easy reading. The 7.6-inch digital display is in front of the steering wheel, but offers a new dash-mounted on-board keypad as well.

Steering is Easier in The New X3s

Less effort steering means you’ll have more energy to stay on the trail longer. New Smart-Loc technology gives you a lockable front differential and several modes of traction: 2WD/4WD,4W Trail Activ and 4WD Trail. And the high-torque, tri-mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) system allows for light-feeling steering with very little effort.

Sleek and Handsome, Too

Eye catching 14-inch aluminum beadlock wheels are standard. The roof, the heavy-duty HMW plastic skid plate and a retractable four-point harness-type seat belts with shoulder pads add some extra safety while look good, too. The shoulder straps are retractable; the easily-adjusted waist belts must be worked manually.

And you can choose from two or four seater to fit your outdoor lifestyle. Consumer opinion is that this sport UTV looks very much like an off-road race car. And with their flash acceleration, and ability to corner at speed, they are known to perform like one, too! Come in and let our Can-Am® experts help you select the right Maverick for your outdoor pleasure!
